CFS （Container Freight Station）

CFS is a place where shipping lines arrange stuffing and unstuffing operation of their cargoes to/from containers. We, Nissei Corporation, as a contractor, on behalf of shipping lines, receive cargoes from exporters, stuff the cargoes into containers respective to destinations, arrange customs clearance, and arrange loading operation of the containers onto the nominated vessels by shipping lines.
In case of import, we arrange bonded transportation of imported containers from CY to CFS and deliver import cargoes to each importer upon cleared customs after unstuffing operation.

Cargoes to be carried in to CFS and to be delivered from CFS are usually small lot which is less than container load and they are called as "LCL cargo" or "Consolidation cargo" to be consolidated into containers.

Nissei Corporation is mainly operating CFS at port of Tokyo and Yokohama in line with a consignment contract with NVOCC (Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier).
